Fall 2024 Issue Preview
What You’ll Find Inside: Fall Issue 2024
As Summer comes to a close and the autumn air begins to turn cooler, the Fall 2024 issue of Bourbon+ is here to help you keep warm. Campfires, travel adventures, bartender tips, and the distilling process are just a few of the topics you’ll find outlining this issue.
Country superstar Eric Church graces our cover, talking about his successful spirit brand, Whiskey Jypsi. Church, along with master blender Ari Sussman, sat down with Bourbon+ to share the story behind the creation of the brand and the process they take to get the perfect blend. The passion and dedication come through as you read the story of Church, Sussman, and investor Raj Alva.
We also sat down with pitmaster Corey Bringle, owner of Peg Leg Porker. The business owner took his brand to new heights by creating Peg Leg Porker Bourbon, which has already been awarded World’s Best Bourbon by The Tasting Alliance. In this feature, we give you an inside look at the recently opened tasting room in Nashville while Bringle shares the journey that led him from BBQ to bourbon.
Next, we head outdoors for a story that pairs bourbon with firewood. That’s right, that same wood you use to cook your meals and keep warm. Bourbon Barrel Firewood, a great addition to any camping experience, helps any outdoorsman create the perfect bourbon-soaked atmosphere. You’ll learn that this firewood will add a fresh new flavor to any adventure, whether sitting around a campfire or cooking a meal for your family.
The bartender’s feature focuses on the drink-making fundamentals our featured bartenders have perfected. Their classic techniques and hospitality take a front seat in this feature, reminding us that bartending is a multi-faceted occupation.
No issue of Bourbon+ would be complete without our drink recipes to add a little excitement to your fall gatherings. We put together several cocktail mixes that will help warm you up and keep your guests coming back for more. (If that’s what you really want!).
Adding the issue, we take you on a trip to scout out a bar in British Columbia—The Keefer Bar, an apothecary-inspired cocktail bar located in the heart of Chinatown. The feature showcases a place where the drinks are flowing and memories are being made.
Bourbon+ is here to help guide you through the season. With restless spirits, entertaining recipes, and stories from back in the day, we hope this issue allows you to gain new insights and leave you with what you need to make your autumn a memorable one. Cheers!
